Company Transportation

It has been four times we have got to deal with police within the past six months for the similar cases. I wonder why two of our delivery vans could be stolen when another case is referring to breaking a traffic regulation. The worst is the last case that took place exactly a month ago when a driver of this company I work got injured on freeway during his duty to deliver our products to a customer. Luckily he just got little bruised; while the car seemed to need big service because of hitting sidewalk.
As the personnel department manager in this company, besides taking care of all personnel functions and human powers, I am also in charge of accepting and processing new staffs into this company. I realize that recruiting new employees is not an easy thing to do. I am supposed to know which department is in need of new staffs and I surely have to know the standard procedure of how to work in that department so that it is easy for me when doing an interview to an applicant for the position required. However, I also realize the limit of my knowledge over this big company with numbers of departments and hundreds of employees. That is why some training is implemented on some certain departments to get maximal job performance. But for the new drivers, I really have no idea what to do other than asking them related licenses and other references. During the driving test, all of these new drivers surely showed perfect abilities, so how could those cases happen?
I then come up with an idea to implement other training also for the drivers. Placing them in a fleet program would surely be a good idea since the programmers are professional in this field. They monitor and lead the drivers in several tests and similar things. This will make sure that the credibility of my drivers is always representing the responsibility of their own on the job. Apart from giving my drivers training, this professional service also carry on another session of consultation on cases around driving and vehicles. In this session, all staffs could participate. That is fantastic! I could learn more about things that I have never known before.
