Exit for fresh air
On one occasion, I was walking around with some college friends of mine in the city park. While having a little chat, my eyes glanced at the new 8-story hypermarket opened last week. It was filled with maybe more than one thousand people. Wow! We were all wondered what was there inside. It was indeed a beautiful Saturday afternoon, but that crowd was apparently unusual. With all of our curiosity, we stepped down on the main street and crossed it to get to the place.
It was quite hard to get in since many people just stayed around and sat down on the hallway stairs. It was indeed disturbing, but I understand that this big hypermarket needs more than two hours to walk around, and it is surely not in the crowded situation. Sneaking here and there, and there was a moment when I drifted away from my friends, we finally came to the center of the market. There was actually no special moment, but the inner decoration and design of this place were really outstanding. Well, there was not a bad idea to walk through the place, besides we were inside anyway.
Walking around and around, refreshing our eyes on a lot of new and advance things sold here and there, we then did not realize that we were already on the fourth floor. This is the area of advance and sophisticated new technology on display, mixed with a lot of food stands on the left and right, along the large corridor. This is the place where many people also hold up their adventure on this gigantic market. What makes things really annoying is that those people are standing around the only two escalators which connecting between floors. It is hard to step well on the moving stairs when our body position is not in comfort, nudging here and there. Isn’t there any other way out from here? There are plenty of exit signs hanging on the wall pointing to a certain direction, and I am sure that it is helpful.
After following those EXIT SIGNS, we were finally encountered to three doors. Behind the doors, there are static stairs used to go down to the lower floors, and end up in basement parking area, each door directs to different parts of the parking area. Well, it was good enough for us. The most important thing was that we didn’t have to throng around other people again. But this area is also as large as the market above; we could hardly see any way out from there. Well, one sure thing to do is to follow another available Exit Sign on some strong and big concrete pillars. Three Exit Signs had been followed, and then we saw an orange color of the outside world, the world which is surely better than being inside!
