Holiday To Mandalay Bay

Holiday To Mandalay Bay photoWith its theme of Southeast Asia, Mandalay Bay has lush tropical foliage, dotted with tiny pagodas and temples. In the lobby area, exotic birds call from wooden cages. The huge swimming complex as well as several of the shops and the popular “rumjungle” lounge emphasizes the theme. There is also an events center. The event center was named Mandalay Bay Events Center. Few Years ago, Luciano Pavarotti inaugurated the 12,000-seat events center in 1999. Since then, performers as diverse as tenor Andrea Bocelli (with the Russian Symphony Orchestra), Ricky Martin, and Bette Midler have graced its stage. During one month in particular, the Mandalay Bay Center was exceptionally eclectic, staging as it did a heavyweight bout between Evander Holyfield and John Ruiz, skater Katarina Witt’s Kisses on Ice show, and Bocelli’s vocal performance. Then, the rumjungle was converted from restaurant to nightclub at 11pm Thursdays through Saturdays. Live bands are accompanied by dancers and gymnasts.

Besides that, there is also House of Blues. It is one of the city’s most popular after-dark spots. House of Blues is a restaurant by day and a nightclub when no major concerts are booked. Flashback Fridays focus on music of the 1980s. A Sunday Gospel Brunch features a Southern-style buffet accompanied by live gospel music. There’s live blues Thursday through Saturday – featuring such big-name entertainers as B. B. King, Sheryl Crow, and the Blues Brothers. Even if you don’t like blues, visit just for the decor alone – the place is crammed with folk art, and there is admission charge for the visitors.

Getting Three Trips From Vegas

Getting Three Trips From Vegas photoIf you are spending holiday in Las Vegas America, you can get the three trips from Vegas. This kind of trip will help you to maintain your holiday time. Besides that, you also donot need to think about the time, the route, and etc. It is because the trips have been arranged by the trip agent. In other side, although it is possible to visit Zion, Grand Canyon, and Death Valley in one trip, it makes more sense geographically to return to Las Vegas in between each place, making three separate excursions.

The Road to Zion

For an overnight trip to remember, drive east on Highway 15 to the Valley of Fire turning. Spend an hour or two on the park’s scenic drive, hiking through Petroglyph Canyon to Mouse’s Tank and visiting the Lost City Museum of Archeology.  Then, back on Highway 15, proceed to Mesquite for lunch, making sure you are within reach of one of Zion’s many viewpoints by sunset: you will be richly rewarded. Overnight in the park or at Springdale.

Grand Canyon

Take Highway 93 to Kingman, then Highways 40 and 64 to the national park. It is possible to view much of the canyon’s grandeur by driving along the rim routes, but the total canyon experience involves hiking or riding to the valley floor, spending the night, and perhaps river-rafting. For insights into Native American culture, visit one of the reservations along the rim.

Death Valley

Starting out from Las Vegas again, head northwest on Highway 95 to Beatty, turning off on Highway 374. You can see the major sights easily in a day and a half, but if you wish to hike or golf, you’ll want to allocate more time to the trip.
